Registration? Student Registration for the 2010 Heart of a Champion Day Screening Event is NOW CLOSED. Please check with your Athletic Director for your designated school bus time or CLICK HERE for a schedule.

Per Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools: any false and/or misleading information provided in this application will result in your child being prohibited from participating in the Heart of a Champion Day for the remainder of your child’s high school career with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

Some important details about the day of the screening event:

What?  FREE sports screenings for all Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) rising high school sophomore, junior and senior athletes

When? Saturday, June 5, 2010, 8am-4pm

What should students wear?

  • T-shirt and Shorts (Females should NOT wear a sports bra).
  • Skin on the chest area should be clean and dry. Please do not use any lotions, creams, oils or powders on the skin of the chest the day of the screening.
  • Wear contacts or bring glasses.
  • No physical activity 1-2 hours prior to screening.

Transportation? Students need to check with their Athletic Director regarding bus schedules. Students will ride the bus with their current 2009-2010 school and come during the assigned school time.
